Why is the UK government so bad?

The UK government is like a bad driver: it always seems to be going in the wrong direction! It often ignores what the people want and instead makes decisions that don’t make much sense. For example, the government recently decided to make it harder to get a visa to come to the UK even though the population is aging and there is a shortage of workers. Not only that, but the government has also been accused of mismanaging funds. For example, a recent report found that £10 million had been wasted on a failed project to build a new hospital. Plus, taxes are too high, which means people are often financially worse off than they should be. And here’s a fun fact: the UK government spends almost double what the US government does on administration costs!
