Walmart Greeters

Walmart Greeters are, in essence, the first people you meet when entering a Walmart. They are the ones who stand at the door, wearing an apron, and greet customers with a smile. They often ask if you need any help finding anything. They may help you find the items you need in the store, or direct you to the customer service desk. Now, to be clear, they are not actually employed by Walmart, they are just volunteers who help out. It’s a great way to get involved in the community, and make a few extra bucks on the side. So, why would someone want to be a Walmart Greeter? Well, according to a survey conducted by Walmart, 97% of customers reported feeling welcomed by the greeters, and 95% of customers said they would be more likely to shop at Walmart if they had a greeter at the door. Plus, Walmart Greeters get to enjoy a few perks, like discounts on their purchases and free coffee and donuts. And here’s a fun fact for you: the world’s oldest Walmart Greeter is still going strong at the ripe old age of 91! He’s been greeting customers for 10 years, and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. So there you have it.
