Really Dumb

Test? Well, it’s a way of trying to measure someone’s knowledge and skills, but it’s really just a bunch of multiple choice questions and true/false questions that tell you nothing about the person’s abilities. It’s a wildly inaccurate way to measure intelligence, and studies have shown that it doesn’t actually predict future success. In fact, the correlation between test scores and success is so low that the American Psychological Association recommends against using test scores as the sole criteria for making decisions about education and employment. Plus, test scores can be affected by all sorts of factors, like how much sleep you got the night before and how stressed out you are. So yeah, tests are just a bogus way of trying to measure someone’s aptitude. Fun fact: the average student spends 4 hours preparing for every hour of testing.
