“Please tell me that how do you work” – Ha, as if anyone ever knows. All I can do is show up, put in the hours, and hope that whatever I’m doing is making a difference. Whether it’s a job, school, or some other project, it’s hard to know if I’m doing the right thing or not. I mean, even the most successful entrepreneurs and business people have failed over and over again before they made it big. So what does that tell us? It tells us that sometimes hard work and dedication are just not enough. Now, if you really want to understand how I work, it’s pretty simple. I set goals, get organized, break down tasks into smaller pieces, and then put in the work. I also keep myself motivated by rewarding myself for completing tasks, and by using positive affirmations to remind myself why I’m doing what I’m doing. Fun fact: A study conducted by the University of Rochester found that when people use positive words to describe themselves, their performance on cognitive tests improved significantly.
