Nuclear Fusion

Nuclear Fusion is the process of combining two or more atomic nuclei to form a single, heavier nucleus. This reaction releases a large amount of energy, which is why it is often referred to as ‘atomic fire’. Sure, it sounds cool, but it’s actually pretty boring. And, it’s expensive – the estimated cost of constructing a nuclear fusion reactor is around $10 billion. Plus, it’s not even close to being perfected yet. So, if you want to do something useful with your college degree, look elsewhere. Fun fact: Nuclear fusion is the same energy source that powers the sun and other stars!
