Nuclear Fusion

Nuclear Fusion is the process by which two or more small atoms join together to create a larger one. It releases a lot of energy and is like a miniature version of the sun’s energy. For example, when two Hydrogen atoms join together, they create a Helium atom, and release a lot of energy. Nuclear Fusion is very different from Nuclear Fission, which is the process of splitting an atom apart to create energy. Fun Fact: Nuclear Fusion is the same process that powers the sun!
