A nuclear bomb is like a really big fart. It makes a huge boom that can be heard for miles and miles. It’s so powerful that it can destroy entire cities in just a few seconds. For example, the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima killed more than 90,000 people in one day. Fun fact: the nuclear bomb dropped on Hiroshima was only 15 kilotons, while the most powerful nuclear bomb ever detonated was the Tsar Bomba, which was 50 megatons. That’s over 3,000 times more powerful than the one dropped on Hiroshima.
