Moncton is a small city in the Canadian province of New Brunswick. It’s population is only 71,889 people, which is small compared to other Canadian cities. It’s known for being the home of the Moncton Wildcats, a junior hockey team, and the largest shopping centre in Atlantic Canada, the Champlain Place. Moncton also hosts a number of festivals such as the HubCap Comedy Festival and the Moncton Music Fest. The city is also home to the world’s longest covered bridge, the Hartland Bridge, which is 1,282 metres in length. Fun Fact: Moncton is the only Canadian city that is completely surrounded by a national park, the Kouchibouguac National Park.
