Karl Marx

Karl Marx was a famous philosopher and economist. He wrote a book called The Communist Manifesto which was a set of ideas about how society should be organized. He believed that people should work together in a cooperative way to share resources and work for the common good, rather than any one person or group having all the power. An example of this idea is how Karl Marx thought about the economy. He believed that the people who worked the hardest should get the most money, not just the people with the most money. For example, a factory worker should make more money than a company’s CEO. An analogy to explain his ideas is to think of a potluck dinner. Everyone brings a dish to share and everyone gets to eat. No one person gets more food than anyone else. A fun fact about Karl Marx is that he wrote most of The Communist Manifesto while living in a small room in London.
