HoAnne

HoAnne is a term used to describe those people who are always trying to do too much. They are the ones trying to be the first to get to work, the first to volunteer for extra projects, and the first to start a new hobby. They are always hustling and always over-involved. Unfortunately, they often spread themselves too thin and end up being mediocre in all of their pursuits. For example, HoAnne might try to start a new business, join the PTA, train for a marathon, and take a pottery class all at the same time. While it’s admirable that they want to do so much, it’s not realistic for them to succeed in all of those areas. Fun Fact: The term “HoAnne” is a portmanteau of the words “hustle” and “overachiever.”
