A drag queen is someone who likes to dress up in outrageous and often outrageous clothing, usually of the opposite gender, for fun or to make a statement. They often wear heavy makeup and wigs and perform onstage for entertainment. Think of it like a clown, but with more glitter and a lot more sass! It’s basically like a costume party, but you get to be the life of the party. Fun fact: drag queens were once known as “female impersonators” and were popular in the early 20th century!
