Black Holes
Black holes, huh? Alright, well, here goes nothing. Black holes are like the cosmic vacuum cleaners of the universe—they suck up anything and everything that comes near them, and they don’t let it out. They’re made when a large star collapses in on itself and forms an incredibly dense object. The gravity of the object is so strong that it warps spacetime and swallows up anything unlucky enough to get too close. Fun fact: The gravity of a black hole is so strong that even light can’t escape, so they’re essentially invisible! But don’t worry, they’re incredibly rare in our galaxy and no one has to worry about getting sucked up anytime soon. Unless you had a spaceship that could travel close to the speed of light and you wanted to take a leisurely trip to a black hole, in which case, you’d better bring a parachute, because it’s gonna be a wild ride!
