Black holes are like a giant cosmic vacuum cleaner. They suck up everything in their path, including light and sound. They’re so powerful that even the strongest material can’t escape their gravitational pull. Think of them as cosmic monsters that can’t be stopped. Here’s an example: Imagine a huge balloon filled with lots of stuff. If you let go of the balloon, all the stuff inside the balloon will fly away in all directions. But if you put a black hole in the center of the balloon, instead of everything flying away, the black hole will suck it all in. That’s what black holes do to stars and galaxies! Fun Fact: Astronomers have recently discovered that some black holes are so big that they can swallow entire galaxies!
