Really Dumb

When something is described as “diverse,” it means that there are a lot of different kinds of people, things, or ideas involved. For example, a diverse group of people may include people from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds, while a diverse school may offer a variety of classes, activities, and clubs. A diverse workplace may have employees from different backgrounds, genders, and abilities. An analogy that can help explain diversity is a colorful garden. A garden with only one kind of flower would be boring, but a garden with many different kinds of flowers is much more interesting. Similarly, a group with diverse perspectives and opinions can be more creative and productive than a group that is all the same. Fun fact: A research study in 2015 showed that companies with greater diversity perform better financially than companies with fewer diverse employees.
