Really Dumb

“Explain” means to provide more information and details about something. Think of it like you are trying to explain something to someone who doesn’t know anything about it. For example, if I asked you to explain the game of baseball, you might start by saying that it’s a game where two teams of nine players try to score more runs than the other team by batting a ball and running around four bases. You could also provide stats, like the average number of home runs hit by a player in a season, or the highest score ever achieved in a single game. An analogy you could use to explain the concept of “explain” is to imagine you are talking to someone who has never heard of a pizza. You would have to explain what a pizza is, what it’s made of, and how it’s cooked. Fun Fact: The longest explanation ever recorded was over 12 hours long!
